Single Mothers Face Barriers To Drug Addiction Treatment

"Even as Maine's drug overdose rate continues to rise, only about half the people seeking help for addiction are getting it. Many either can't get access to intensive outpatient programs, don't have insurance or can't afford to pay out of pocket. And for single mothers the barriers can be especially great."
