Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Crossroads for Women's IOP is a structured but flexible combination of group options that provide substance abuse treatment either 3, 4 or 5 days per week at 3 hours a day. All groups are held at Crossroads for Women's outpatient office in Portland, Maine.
IOP may be a first step for women beginning their journey to recovery from substance abuse and any co-occurring mental health issues. It may also serve as aftercare treatment for those women who might first require a more structured residential treatment to help them stabilize in sobriety.
Gender-specific treatment issues are explored with an emphasis on addiction education, co-occurring mental health issues, coping skills, relapse prevention and the necessary tools for recovery.
Crossroads for Women also offers an IOP in Kennebunk at its Kennebunk Counseling Center location.

To access services at Crossroads for Women, visit our Portland outpatient office during walk-in hours any time between 8:00am – 10:00am, Monday – Friday. Some insurances may require an appointment.
